Review by Chief Air Marshal visiting Bhuj – Naliya Air Force Station

Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Air Marshal Sandeep Singh of South Western Air Command visited Air Force Base at Naliya and Bhuj in Kutch yesterday.
On the occasion, he praised the role of border security. The Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief reviewed operational readiness at this Air Force base. He was briefed on the current security situation in the region.
He visited various operational units and appreciated the role he was playing at this important Air Force base to protect the nation’s airspace.
The Air Marshal presented the trophy to the best performing units in various categories under the South Western Air Command. He was initially welcomed by the respective base commanders.
During the visit, Air Marshal also reviewed the measures adopted in relation to the Covid-19 epidemic at Naliya and Bhuj.
The Air Marshal urged all personnel to work hard to enhance their operational readiness and to take all measures to combat the Covid-19 epidemic. He did not go through this base for epidemic management

Relief to shopkeepers: Essential service shops will be open daily in Mumbai

Non-essential shops can be maintained from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 3 pm in an even-odd manner.

MUMBAI: Mumbai Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal on Monday issued a relief order to traders as they have almost succeeded in curbing the second wave of Corona. According to the new order of the corporation, the essential service shops in Mumbai will be open daily, but the non-essential shops will also be able to continue from Monday to Friday in an even-odd manner.

Under ‘Break the Chain’, the state government had given some instructions in the lockdown which was extended till June 15. Based on this, some necessary decisions were taken regarding opening of shops within the limits of Mumbai Municipal Corporation.

As per the new order of the corporation which will be in force till June 15, the essential service shops will be open every morning from 7 am to 2 pm. Shops except Mondays during the morning from Monday to Friday

However, non-essential service shops can be maintained on an even-odd basis, with shops on the right side of the road being open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the first week, while shops on the left side of the road on Tuesdays. Similarly, shops on the left side of the road will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the second week, while shops on the right side of the road will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The same method will allow the shops to continue in the coming weeks. Only on Saturdays and Sundays will the shops be completely closed except for the essentials. Finance of non-essential items along with essential items under e-commerce

This order will remain in force as long as the Break the Chain order exists by the State Government. All traders will be required to carry out social distance, use masks and other measures. If the order is violated, action will be taken under various sections. The commissioner also warned that the order could be revoked at any time if it was not properly complied with.
